Maui Liquor Card Exam 2026

Study for the Maui County liquor card exam, officially the Liquor Laws and Rules certification exam run by the County of Maui Department of Liquor Control, with a complete, offline practice app built straight from the law: Hawaii Revised Statutes Chapter 281 (Intoxicating Liquor) and the Maui County Rules of the Liquor Commission, Chapters 101 and 102. Every question is written from the actual statute and rule, and cites the passage it comes from.

WHO NEEDS THIS CARD
A managerial or supervisory employee, or the licence holder, who seeks the Employee Approved by the Director certification card must pass this exam. An approved employee must be in active charge of the licensed premises at all times it is open for business.

• 280+ flashcards for the definitions, time limits, age rules, fees and penalties you need to know cold.
• Timed 50-question mock exams, 60 minutes, weighted to the real subject mix, drawn fresh from the bank each time.
• Weak-area review that resurfaces what you keep getting wrong.
• Per-topic readiness so you know when you are ready for test day.

ABOUT THE REAL EXAM
The Maui liquor card exam is taken online on the County's certification platform. The County does not publish an official question count or pass mark, and advises about one hour to complete it, so the in-app mock uses a strict, clearly-labelled unofficial practice target of 35 of 50 (70%) in 60 minutes. The certification card is valid for four years, the minimum age is 21, and the County card fee is 20 dollars.
