A music preparation tool for club DJs, mobile DJs and DJs learning harmonic mixing. Analyze MP3 and WAV tempo and key on your device, then use the real waveform to refine beat grids and hot cues.

BPM AND KEY
Choose Open Key 1d/1m or standard C/Am notation. Edit BPM and key, or halve and double tempo when needed. Explore matching keys, adjacent numbers and relative keys on the harmonic mixing wheel.

WAVEFORM AND CUES
Zoom the measured peak and energy waveform up to 64×. Follow playback, pan, play, pause, stop and hold the seek buttons for continuous navigation. Adjust beat 1 and use SNAP to place A–H hot cues on the beat.

DJ LIBRARY
See artwork, title, artist, BPM and key. Sort by column, drag to reorder, select and remove tracks, browse 20 tracks per page or expand the list. Build playlists in your chosen order.

FILES AND TAGS
Add [1d - 128BPM] to filenames and save Comment, Key and BPM tags. Export copies by default. Optional original overwrite asks for confirmation, stores a backup, prefixes the filename and updates tags while preserving the Title tag. Restore backups from About. Original overwrite requires a file provider that supports writing and renaming.

EXPORT FOR DJ SOFTWARE
Export playlists as rekordbox XML, Traktor NML, Serato crate and M3U8. Review XML/NML grids and cues after importing into the DJ software. Serato crates transfer track lists, not beat grids. Create hardware USB libraries in the destination DJ software. Compatibility with every device has not been certified.

ON YOUR DEVICE
Offline analysis, no login or ads. Your music is not uploaded to Waveroom, and the app sends no automatic analytics. Older or low-memory phones use lightweight analysis; review automatic BPM, key and beat-grid estimates before export. One purchase, no analysis or export quotas. Files are limited to 500 MB each. New imports stop when the working library uses about 1 GB; free device storage is also required.

English is the default. Choose from 36 languages and Classic, Dark, Neon or Handwritten skins. Requires Android 8.0 or later. Keep the app open during analysis.

1. Select MP3 or WAV files.
2. Listen and review BPM, key and beat 1; correct them when needed.
3. Prepare hot cues and playlists.
4. Export to a folder and import into your DJ software.

Analysis results are estimates, best suited to constant-tempo 4/4 music. Pickups, changing meter or tempo, key changes and live performances need manual review. WAV and unusual ID3 compatibility varies by software. CUEVEX is independent of Mixed In Key and is not an affiliated product.
