Resideo has launched an app specifically tailored to home service professionals. The Resideo Pro app alongside the Resideo Pro Portal (pro.resideo.com) now offers new features to simplify the install process for Resideo products. The Resideo Pro app currently supports the Honeywell Home T5+ and T6 Pro Smart Thermostats for easy and seamless device configuration. Securely connect to the smart thermostat via BLE (Bluetooth® Low Energy) or Wi-Fi to perform many operations such as:
· Configure HVAC system parameters
· Verify systems are functioning as expected with system test checkouts and diagnostics
· Create and access customer information from the Resideo Pro App
· Invite customers to take device ownership and set up Honeywell Home app
· Add tasks for incomplete activities and finish them at a later time
In addition to the above features, the Resideo Pro app automatically associates the thermostat to your Resideo Pro account, enabling you to provide value-add features to your customers. When you set up a thermostat using the Resideo Pro app, your customer can easily access your contact information via the Honeywell Home app. Additional features will be available in Fall 2021.
