About Bible Characters: Who Am I?

Who was David? What did Ruth do? Why does Esther matter?

Bible Characters is a free, offline guide to 528 people of the Bible, from Adam to the apostles. Open any person to read who they were, what happened in their story and where to find it in your own Bible. Then play "Who am I?" with your family, class or Bible study group.

PEOPLE OF THE BIBLE
• 528 men and women from the 66 books of the Bible, each with a portrait.
• Short profiles in plain language: who they were, their story in three short parts and a "did you know?" fact.
• Chapters to read, with a link that opens them in your Bible app.
• Relations: father, wife, son, mentor, enemy, ally… tap a name to jump to that person.
• Search and filter by Old or New Testament, men or women, and role: kings, prophets, apostles, judges and more.

THE LINE TO JESUS
• The genealogy from Adam to Jesus as recorded in Luke 3 and Matthew 1: 61 generations, with the mothers Matthew names.

"WHO AM I?" BIBLE GAME
• Draw a random character and let the others guess who it is without saying the name. Right answer, one point.
• Limit the draw by testament, men or women, or role to suit your class or group.
• Great for Sunday school, youth groups, family evenings and Bible quizzes.

YOUR PROGRESS
• Mark the people you know and your favorites, and watch your count grow.

GOOD TO KNOW
• Works fully offline. No account, no sign-up.
• Available in 46 languages. A profile not yet translated into your language is shown in English.
• Based on the 66 books of the Protestant canon. No Bible text is included, only chapter references, so you read in the Bible version you trust.
• A small banner ad keeps the app free. Ads are not personalised, anonymous usage statistics follow your privacy choice, and nothing about you is sold.

Profiles are reviewed and improved continuously.
