Pooost turns paper letters into an organized private inbox. Scan multiple pages, import photos or PDFs, and keep the originals together with searchable text, notes and important passages.
Pooost is a local letter manager for your inbox, documents and deadlines. Search your post, keep sender and reference details, and add your own notes. Save individual scans and original PDFs, or share them through Android with a cloud app of your choice. Switch between light and dark mode. Optionally protect app access with fingerprint, face recognition or your device screen lock.
When you share or save an original, Pooost creates a temporary unencrypted copy in private app cache. Only the app you choose in Android receives the shared file. Old copies are removed after an hour on the next app launch or export.
Find reference numbers and possible deadlines. Review every suggested date against the original before confirming a reminder. Mark letters as done, share a PDF or the recognized document text, and add confirmed dates to your calendar.
Letters are encrypted on your device. Text recognition and analysis run locally. Date suggestions help you file letters; you confirm every deadline yourself. Some scanning and language models require an initial download. Choose a supported letter language or script in settings. Bundled offline OCR includes Latin, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Devanagari, plus 16 additional languages including Arabic, Russian, Ukrainian, Hebrew and Thai. Other scripts can be entered manually. Local translations depend on available language models and may contain errors.
Your notes and remarks are written by you. Pooost does not create automatic summaries.
Create password-encrypted backups of one letter or all letters. Save a backup file or optionally sign in with Google to upload it to your Google Drive. Restore backups on another device with your password. Google sign-in is not required to use Pooost. Keep your backup password safe: it cannot be recovered.
Try Pooost free for 7 days from installation. After that, a one-time in-app purchase of EUR 5.99 unlocks continued scanning and analysis. Local store prices may vary. There is no subscription or automatic charge. Restore your purchase with the same Google Play account. After 7 days, Pooost stays locked until you buy or restore the one-time purchase.
