boop

Boop turns a photo of someone you know into a small personalized game.

Pick a person. Boop finds their face, builds a game around it, and you play. Then you send it to them and see what comes back.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Choose a photo — from your camera, your camera roll, or the people Boop has found for you.
2. Boop finds the face and drops it into a game.
3. Play a short game where that face is the whole point.
4. Send it to a friend, or start another one.

YOUR PEOPLE, ONE TAP AWAY

Turn on face scanning and Boop indexes the faces in your photo library, entirely on your phone. The people you actually take pictures of show up ready to play, and new photos get picked up on their own. It's optional, it's off until you say yes, and you can switch it off in Settings whenever you like.

REMAKES

Spend Sparks to Remake a photo and get a bespoke art set generated for that exact picture — yours to keep and replay.

PRIVACY, PLAINLY

• Face scanning happens on your device. Your photos, crops, and face data never leave your phone.
• The face index is encrypted with a key held in the Android Keystore.
• Face scanning is its own opt-in, separate from everything else, and you can revoke it.
• Decline all of it and Boop still works — picking a photo to play needs no permission at all.
