About Book Reading Tracker & Log
Your reading life on three shelves: the books you want to read, the one you are reading now, and everything you have finished. Book Reading Tracker & Log is a simple, private reading journal that works entirely offline.
How it works
1. Add a book in seconds: title, author, total pages
2. Move it between shelves: to read, reading, finished
3. Log the pages you have read and watch the progress bar fill up
4. Rate each finished book from one to five stars
5. The finish date is recorded for you the day you close the book
6. Two counters on the home screen: books read this year and books in progress
Reading insights (free 7-day trial, then subscription)
Once you have finished a few books, open your insights: how many books you finish per month, your reading pace in days per book, your average rating, total pages finished and the longest book you have read. It is your year in books, built from your own log.
Why this app and not another?
Most book trackers want an account, a social feed and a sync to a server you did not ask for. This one keeps your library on your phone. No sign-up, no friends list, no recommendations. You type the title yourself, which means it works for any book in any language, including the ones no database knows about: second-hand finds, school books, manga, comics, audiobooks, self-published titles.
The interface looks like a shelf, not a spreadsheet. Dark background, warm gold accents, serif titles. Each book gets its own spine colour so your shelf stays readable at a glance.
Good to know
The app is free and shows ads. The optional weekly subscription starts with a 7-day free trial, unlocks reading insights and removes ads once the paid period begins. Cancel any time from Google Play. Your books stay on your device and are deleted when you uninstall the app.
Topics covered:
Reading log • Book journal • To-read list • Reading progress • Pages read • Book ratings • Books read this year • Reading pace • Personal library • Offline book tracker
