GrainCam: Film Photo Filters

Your phone takes perfect photos. That is the problem.

GrainCam makes them look like film. Grain, dust, light leaks, a red glow around the highlights, faded blacks and warm color. Shoot through a live film viewfinder or pick a photo you already have, choose a look, save it.

SEE THE LOOK BEFORE YOU SHOOT
The camera shows the film look live, so you frame the shot already in Golden 200 or BW 400. Tap to focus, flip to the front camera, shoot. Turn the phone sideways and the photo comes out landscape.

SEVEN FILM LOOKS
Golden 200 for warm summer color. Instant for soft, faded snapshots. Super 8 for heavy grain and big leaks. Toy Cam for punchy color and dark corners. BW 400 for grainy black and white. Sun Bleach for washed out holiday prints. And the untouched Original.

NO TWO SHOTS THE SAME
Real film never comes out the same twice, so GrainCam does not either. Every photo gets its own light leak, grain and dust. Sometimes the leak is a soft glow, sometimes a band along the edge, sometimes a thin streak. Do not like the roll? Tap the dice for a new one, and undo if the last one was better.

THE 90s DATE STAMP
Turn on the orange camcorder date in the corner. It uses the day the photo was taken, not today.

FULL SIZE, NO WATERMARK
Photos are rendered at full size and saved to your gallery with their date, camera details and location kept. No tiny exports, no logo in the corner. Share straight to any app.

MADE FOR PHOTOS YOU ALREADY HAVE
Pick any photo from your gallery. Slide the intensity from a light touch to expired film, and hold the photo to compare it with the original.

NOTHING LEAVES YOUR PHONE
