Until That Day: Countdown

Count down to the days you are waiting for, with your own photos on your home screen.

Until That Day is a countdown app for baby milestones, anniversaries, payday, exam day and family dates. Choose what the date is for, add it, and keep it in view with a home screen widget.

What you can count
• Child: Enter a birth date and get monthly milestones from 1 to 11 months, the half birthday and every birthday. See days since birth and the calendar age in months and days.
• Couple: Enter the day you got together to count the 6-month anniversary and every anniversary after it. Choose whether the first day counts as day 1.
• Work: Set your payday and a weekend rule (keep the date, previous weekday or next weekday) to see your upcoming paydays. Public and company holidays are not included.
• Study: Enter a confirmed exam date and count down to it.
• My car: Enter the expiry date from your inspection notice so it does not slip by.
• Family: Birthdays and family gatherings.
• Free date: A trip, a graduation, a move - any day worth remembering.
You choose which suggested dates to keep. Only the dates you add appear on Home and get reminders.

Lunar calendar dates
Switch a Family or Free date to the lunar calendar. Add the lunar year (optional), a leap month and yearly repeat, and see the matching solar date before you save. A yearly lunar date moves to next year's solar day once it has passed. Lunar conversion follows the Korean lunar calendar and covers lunar years 1900 to 2050.

Reminders you control
• Days: pick from D-100, D-30, D-7, D-1 and D-Day, or add a custom number of days before. Once a date has passed, choose D+100, D+200, D+365 or a custom number of days after.
• Time: 8 AM, 9 AM, noon, 8 PM, or any time in 5-minute steps.
• Change them any time from the date's detail screen.
You can save and view your dates even if notifications are turned off.

Photos and widgets
• Use your own photo as a date's cover and set its focus.
• Widget layouts: photo, big number, several dates, progress bar and calendar.
• Home screen widget sizes: 1x1, 2x1 and 2x2 (several dates show in 2x1 and 2x2).
• Choose each widget's date and layout in its settings: touch and hold the widget on Android 12 and later, or set them when you add it on earlier versions. A widget without its own choice follows the main date in the app.
• Small widgets and large text may leave out the photo and extra details.
• A photo appears in widgets only if you turn that on for the date. Photos stay on your device.
• Remove a photo's background: the first time, the tool may be downloaded through Google Play services. The photo is processed on your device.

Your Home at a glance
• Pick a featured category and its most imminent date shows large at the top.
• Sort other dates by soonest, recently added or name, and pin the ones you want first.
• After a date passes, the count continues as D+.
• Light and dark appearance.

Share
• Share an image card in square (feed) or 9:16 (story) format.
• Send an invite link, and the recipient can add the same date in Until That Day.

Free and Pro
• Free: 5 dates, basic photo and date widgets, one or several dates per widget.
• Pro (one-time purchase, not a subscription): no ads, unlimited dates, extra designs (Paper and Midnight), and saved and duplicated designs.
If you bought Pro before, it carries over to 2.0 at no extra charge. On another device, tap Restore Purchases in Settings.

Privacy
No account needed. Dates and photos are stored on your device. Ads and purchases may use the internet.

Available in English, Korean and Japanese. Suggested milestones follow the app language: English offers monthly baby milestones, the half birthday and a 6-month couple anniversary; Japanese offers お七夜, お宮参り, お食い初め, the half birthday and 1-, 3- and 6-month couple anniversaries; Korean offers 100-day steps and anniversaries.
