About Pianovera: Falling Note Piano

Pianovera is a visual piano: falling notes show you which key to play, and 3D hands show the fingering. Play on screen, with a MIDI keyboard or on your real piano through the microphone, whether you are a beginner, coming back to the piano or just enjoying the great classics. When you open the app, choose how to start: Learn piano or Play & explore, and set your level with one question.

LEARN PIANO
• Beginner piano lessons that start from zero: 56 lessons in 9 courses, from the very first note to complete pieces, no music theory needed first
• Each piano lesson takes about 5 minutes: a tip, note-by-note practice, a quiz, then a piece
• A “3, 2, 1” count-in starts every passage in time. A missed attempt comes back slower and more forgiving, and no lesson ever blocks you
• On your real piano, the microphone listens to your notes
• Exercises (scales, chords, arpeggios, Hanon), Note reading (8 levels, 2 free), a daily challenge at 3 levels and a weekly challenge
• A training league against simulated opponents, a day streak and a daily goal keep you on track

PLAY AND EXPLORE
• 579 public-domain pieces: Für Elise, Clair de Lune, Canon in D, Turkish March, Gymnopédie, Chopin nocturnes and many more, from Bach to Joplin
• Up to 3 versions of every piece: beginner, intermediate and original
• Play piano by following the falling notes: each note drops toward its key on a 3D keyboard, with the fingering. Classic sheet music view too
• 3D hands play the piece in front of you, even in the free version
• Free play, Wait mode (playback waits for the right note), learning in sections, scored scrolling
• No MIDI keyboard? Play your own piano: the microphone listens in the Wait and Learn in sections modes
• Slow down, A-B loop, one hand at a time, metronome, note names, color-coded fingers
• Keyboard from 13 to 88 keys, grand piano sound
• Your own MIDI files open too: Pianovera is a visual MIDI player
• A free session on the on-screen virtual keyboard, a virtual piano with no song needed, and Lounge mode, where pieces follow one another on their own
• A map of over 370 public pianos near you

A LOOK WORTH WATCHING
• Three lighting looks, shown as cards with real previews: Natural studio, Cinematic concert, Signature light; the light reacts to the notes

MAKE VIDEOS
• Export your piece as an MP4 video, in 16:9 or vertical 9:16 for Shorts
• Free: 2 videos a week, 1 minute at most, without the hands, with a watermark
• Premium: unlimited videos, with the 3D hands and the effects, no watermark

FREE OR PREMIUM
• Free: 30 pieces (20 in full, 10 in a simplified version), the first 10 lessons then one lesson per token earned in the daily challenge, the 3D hands, the Natural studio look and a 15-second preview of the other two
• The rest of the catalog and your MIDI files play as 40-second excerpts; a Pianovera watermark shows on screen
• Premium unlocks everything: all 579 pieces in full, every lesson, every look, stage mode, effect colors, unlimited videos
• Monthly or yearly subscription, cancelable at any time in Google Play, or a single lifetime payment

MICROPHONE AND PRIVACY
• The microphone, if you allow it, is used only for lessons, Note reading and pieces (Wait and Learn in sections modes): the sound is analyzed on your device, never recorded or sent
• A MIDI keyboard plugged in by USB (OTG adapter) is only read, nothing is sent to it
• Your approximate location, if you allow it, only centers the public pianos map and stays on your device
• Signing in with Google is optional: it restores Premium on Android and on Windows
• Playback, sound, lessons and export work offline; only the map needs the Internet

The player and lessons run in landscape. Pianovera is also available on Windows (pianovera.com), with the same pieces, the same lessons and video export.
