Petnyang keeps your favorite pet — and your family and friends too — right on your phone. They move in the corner of your screen while you use other apps, and react to your voice when you shake to call them.

■ What you can do • Adopt a pet — pick one of our ready-made pets (Shiba, Maine Coon, Ragdoll, Golden Retriever) free. Shiba is already waiting when you first open the app. • Make a motion (free) — a short video makes them move; a photo makes a still one. The background is removed automatically, leaving only them. • Decorate their room — as you grow closer, dress them up with pedestals, wings, emoji and frames. • Your home — as your bond grows, 5 historic Korean homes open one by one (from a Neolithic pit-house to a Baekje palace), and they live in that era's room. • Call by voice — set a phrase for each motion, then shake or long-press to call them and speak. • Gallery — collect up to 99 favorite photos and float them on your screen. Add a frame to make them prettier. • Mini-games (free) — play simple games together and grow closer. • Daily gifts — get an unlock ticket every day you come back. Save them up to open decorations. • Free size and position — drag them anywhere, resize with a slider.

■ Good to know • Petnyang does not create movement from a single photo. To make them move you need a short video that already moves. A photo becomes a still one. • One pet is free. Extra rooms or extra pets need friend-referral rewards or a purchase. • Making motions and mini-games are free with no limits.

■ Permissions • Display over other apps: needed to show them over other screens. • Notifications: shown while they are on your screen, and used to tell you when it's time to meet again. • Microphone: used only for voice reactions (the rest works without it). • Photos and media: used to make a motion from the photo or video you pick.

Your photos and videos never leave your phone — they are processed on your device to make them (background removal included). Voice reactions use the Android (Google) speech recognition built into your phone — Petnyang does not store or collect your voice.
