MCR: Learn Chinese Mahjong

Learn Chinese Mahjong scoring the way you actually remember it: by solving small, focused quizzes with instant feedback. No thick rulebook required.

Chinese Official Mahjong (国标麻将 / MCR) uses an 81-fan scoring system that scares off most beginners. This app breaks that whole ruleset into ten chapters and hundreds of bite-sized questions, so five minutes of practice actually moves you forward.

WHY LEARN HERE
Tried to study the 81-fan rules but bounced off the book? Played a few games but still can't tell which fan you're scoring? These quizzes turn Chinese Mahjong scoring into muscle memory — one hand at a time, with the answer explained every step.

WHAT'S INSIDE
• Chapter-based curriculum: from basic fan to high-value combinations, each chapter split into short sub-levels you unlock as you go.
• Instant feedback: every answer shows the correct fan total, the fan-by-fan breakdown, and a plain explanation. Misreads become obvious.
• Full 81-fan reference: every fan with a description, a canonical example hand, and practical tips.
• Scoring showcase: curated example hands with computed breakdowns and notes on which fan absorbs which (the mutual-exclusion rules).
• Mistake practice: missed questions are tracked and re-served in a review mode, so you drill your weak spots.
• Progress and stats: per-chapter completion and accuracy, so you always know where you stand.
• Six-language UI: English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese (Taiwan / Hong Kong), Japanese, and Korean.

WHO IT'S FOR
• Newcomers who want to learn Chinese Mahjong rules but find the rulebook a wall;
• Casual players who can't yet name the fan they just won on;
• Intermediate players sharpening their scoring intuition;
• Tournament players drilling official 国标 rules for competition.

WHY US
Fan totals come from an open-source mahjong scoring engine — the breakdown you see is the real computation, not a guess. The app is built for learning: no ads, no in-app purchase interruptions.
