Every point in cribbage comes with a plain-English reason. When the computer pegs, you see why. When a hand is counted, each combination is shown one at a time - fifteen two, fifteen four, a pair for six - with the exact cards that made it highlighted. If you have ever sat at a family table nodding along while somebody else counted, this is the app that finally explains what just happened.

WHAT YOU GET

A full 121-point game against the computer, start to finish: the deal, your discard to the crib, the cut, the pegging, and the show.

An eight-step guided tutorial that runs on the real game engine. You make the moves yourself, and the app tells you when you are right and when you are not.

A rules reference written in ordinary language, including the parts people argue about - four-card flushes, his nobs, his heels, and why the crib treats flushes differently.

Manual counting mode. Claim your own total from the cards, then reveal the breakdown and see whether you missed anything. Leave it switched off if you would rather the app count for you.

HONEST SHUFFLING

Three difficulty levels change how well the computer plays, not what it is dealt. Every game shows its shuffle seed on screen, and a statistics panel tracks the hands you and the computer have actually received alongside the values expected from a fair deck, so you can check the deal yourself over time.

BUILT AROUND THE HAND

Ads appear only between games, never during a hand. A hand takes a minute or two and it stays uninterrupted from the deal to the count.

HOUSE RULES

Traditions differ from family to family, so the points that vary most are switches you control. Turn manual counting on or off and set the opponent's strength to match your own.
