About Folks Care
Folks Care is your family's private hub for organizing the care of your loved ones—without relying on the memory of a single person.
Caring for a family member (father, mother, grandmother, grandfather, or any loved one) often turns into a mess of WhatsApp groups, notebooks, and "who was going to take her to the doctor again?". Folks Care organizes all of that in one place, shared only with those you invite.
WHAT YOU ORGANIZE:
• Calendar — medical appointments and consultations, with type, professional, and status
• Medications — names, dosages, and frequency (always self-reported by the family, never prescribed by the app)
• Tasks — who is responsible for what, with priority and deadline, accept/reject
• Documents — prescriptions, exams, and reports securely stored, with optical character recognition (OCR) for less typing
• Contacts and professionals — doctors, caregivers, and services all in one place
• Expenses — split among family members, who paid for what
• Care diary — record of daily occurrences, visible to anyone in the circle
• Family wall — a space to update everyone without repeating the same news five times
• AI assistant — ask "what are the next appointments?" or "what tasks are pending?" Receive responses based on what the family has already registered.
EACH FAMILY, ITS OWN CIRCLE
Invite those involved in caregiving—children, grandchildren, hired caregivers—with defined roles (administrator, responsible party, caregiver, family member, viewer). Each circle is isolated and private; only those who are invited and accept can see the information.
WORKS OFFLINE
No internet signal? No problem—the app works with pre-loaded data and automatically synchronizes when the connection returns.
