WHERE THE NUMBERS COME FROM
Color and altimetry maps from the NASA/Goddard CGI Moon Kit, made with data from LROC and the Lunar Orbiter Laser Altimeter. Ephemeris from the truncated ELP2000-82B series and Jean Meeus' algorithms. The Moon's longitude has an error of about 10 arcseconds, the distance about 1 km, and the phase times a few seconds off between 1980 and 2100. Sunrise and sunset include diurnal parallax, horizon refraction, and the semidiameter of the disk.
