NAMES SPELLED RIGHT
If you allow it, WandType reads the names in your contact list for one reason: so friends and family names are spelled correctly instead of being autocorrected into other words. Your contact list itself is never sent anywhere — a name only reaches our server if it appears in text you rewrite with the wand.

ABOUT YOUR TEXT
Being straight about this, because it matters on a keyboard.
- Tapping the wand sends that text to our server to be rewritten, and it is not kept afterwards
- Nothing is sent unless you tap the wand, or turn on automatic tidying, which uses the same rewrite pipeline
- Automatic sentence tidying is a separate setting and is off until you switch it on
- Your typing is not logged, sold, or used to build a profile
- Everything else on the keyboard works entirely on your device
