**Offline chess vs Stockfish AI**

Challenge the computer with 10 difficulty levels, from beginner practice to advanced play. The app's internal strength range is approximately 1320–3190; these are practice estimates, not official FIDE ratings. Stockfish is used as the chess engine; Chess Crown is not the official Stockfish app.

**10,000 offline chess puzzles**

Practice tactics with 10,000 puzzles from the Lichess open puzzle database. Solve the daily puzzle, browse 12 tactical themes, filter by puzzle Elo range, use hints and track your local puzzle rating and streaks.

**Two-player pass-and-play chess**

Play a friend on one device with 11 time-control options, including bullet, blitz, rapid, classical, incremented clocks or no timer. No internet connection is needed for local play.

**Chess analysis and game review**

Analyze finished games with Stockfish running on your device. Review move history, use the evaluation bar and graph, load FEN positions, and import, export or share PGN games.

**Full chess rules and useful controls**

Use legal-move highlights, drag or tap to move, castling, en passant and pawn promotion. Undo moves, use hints, save and resume games, review positions, or offer a draw and resign when needed.

**Board themes and progress tracking**

Flip the board and customize board and piece themes. Track wins, losses, draws, local rating, achievements, progression tiers and personal bests on your device. Sound and haptics are optional.

**Private and distraction-free**

No ads, no account and no online leaderboard. Your saved games and progress stay on your device. Core play, puzzles and analysis are available offline.
