mssgs

mssgs is a private group chat app for your friends, your clan, your class or your team. Start a community with its own channels, chat in DMs, jump on a voice call, play a game together and see where your friends are on the map. No ads, and your data stays in the EU.

Group chat with channels
Give your group its own community and organise it into channels and categories. Reply, react with emoji, mention people and pin what matters. Your community, your rules: you decide who can see what and who moderates.

Private messages
Chat one-on-one or with a few friends. Send a photo or video that can be viewed only once, keep your streaks alive, and turn on ghost mode so messages disappear once you have both read them. You get a notice when someone screenshots your chat, and you can lock chats with a PIN.

Voice calls
Call a friend, or hang out in a voice channel with your whole group. Calls are end-to-end encrypted, and keep running in picture-in-picture while you use the rest of the app.

Friend map
Share your location with the friends you pick and see where everyone is. You decide who sees you, and you can stop sharing at any time.

Stories and feed
Post a story for all your friends, or a private story for a group you choose. Share photos and videos in the feed, with likes and comments.

Built-in games
Challenge your friends without leaving the chat: Four in a Row, Battleship, Checkers, Polymono, Tegostrat, Word Guesser, Snake, Snake Capture and Memory.

Camera and editor
Filters, text, stickers and location stickers for your photos and videos. Trim a clip before you send it.

mssgs originals
More than 1,400 animated stickers built into the app, with instant search.

Bring your Memories
Import your old photos and videos with their original dates, so your history comes along.

Safe and in control
Protect your account with two-step verification using a passkey, with backup codes as a fallback. Your data is stored in the Netherlands, in the EU.

One group chat, every device
mssgs runs on Android phones and tablets, iPhone, Mac, Windows, Linux and on the web at mss.gs. Available in English, Dutch, German, French, Italian, Danish, Swedish, Finnish, Russian and Ukrainian.
