We collaborated with literacy experts to produce our unique pedagogical approach: including Susan Neuman (Professor of Early Childhood and Literacy Education, NYU), Ted Briscoe (Professor of Computational Linguistics, University of Cambridge), and Emma Madden (Headteacher at Fox Primary, one of the UK’s top schools).

Children can learn up to 1000 new Tier 2 vocabulary words a year, so our team mine databases of vocabulary found in literature, major exams (such as the 11+ and SSAT), and school curricula in the US and UK. We are also partnered with Lexile, ensuring players are exposed to word selections that increase their reading age.

Players get word lists that are tailored to their needs. These include:

- Creative writing and literature words
- US exam words (inc. SSAT, SAT)
- UK exam words (inc. KS1/KS2 SATs, ISEB 11+)
- Inspirational words
- STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics) words
- An epic mix of words
