About DeltaCap

DeltaCAP, a Dutch funded project, aims to improve the capacities for water professionals contributing to the implementation of the Bangladesh Delta Plan 2100 (BDP2100). The outcome of DeltaCAP, next to training services (referred to as Delta Centre) that will continue after finalization of the project (by 2020), is an improved awareness, skills and capacities of the final beneficiaries of BDP2100.

The target groups of DeltCAP are junior to mid-level staff of planning, design and implementing agencies, policy organizations, professional institutions, practitioners (including NGOs and community organizations) and education institutions.

DeltaCAP aims to cover a range of topics in water resources management and adaptive delta management, like longer term planning, planning and implementation, integrated and participatory approaches and the use of (innovative) information services.

The training materials will be made available as open course ware to be freely used by professionals and training institutes.
