The Cryptocurrency Index App provides a modified capitalization-weighted index based on a basket of the 20 largest coins of the moment. It is made less dependant on fiat currencies by using more than one fiat currency to calculate weight. This way the index is a very good indicator for the overall changes in the cryptocurrency markets.

The app also provides a ticker for the 20 largest currencies of the moment. This way you can quickly see how much the major coins are going up or down.
