About HEIC JPEG Converter – Easy
HEIC ⇄ JPEG Converter is a simple yet powerful app for converting images between HEIC (HEIF) and JPEG. It never uses the network: every conversion happens on your device.
TWO-WAY CONVERSION
- HEIC to JPEG: convert to the JPEG format that opens everywhere
- JPEG to HEIC: convert to the efficient, high-quality HEIC format
- The conversion direction is detected automatically from the files you pick
QUALITY CONTROL
- 5 presets: Low (60%), Medium (75%), High (85%), Maximum (95%), Lossless (100%)
- A custom slider for fine adjustment from 0% to 100%
IMAGE RESIZING
- Shrink the long edge to 1024 / 2048 / 4096 px
- Images smaller than the target size are never enlarged
METADATA CONTROL
- Preserve All: keep camera details and GPS location as they are
- Remove Location: strip the GPS data only and keep the rest of the EXIF
- Remove All: strip all EXIF data for maximum privacy
BATCH CONVERSION
- Select and convert many files at once
- Live progress for every file
- Cancel at any time
- Retry only the files that failed
MADE FOR ANDROID
- Pick images with the photo picker or the file picker
- Convert images shared from other apps, such as your gallery, or opened with this app
- Save converted files to a folder or send them through the share sheet
- Your save folder is remembered, so later saves take one tap (you can change it from the results screen)
- One screen on phones; on tablets and other wide screens, conversion and settings sit side by side in two panes
- Dark mode, in English and Japanese
PRIVACY FIRST
- The app has no INTERNET permission, so your images can never leave your device
- No ads, no analytics, and no collection or tracking of your data
- Your original files are never modified; results are saved as new files
GOOD TO KNOW
- JPEG to HEIC uses your device's HEVC encoder. On devices without one, the app tells you "This device does not support HEIC encoding" instead of quietly giving you a JPEG.
- The video part of Live Photos and depth information are not converted. Only the main EXIF fields are written to HEIC files.
- Requires Android 9 or later.
Turn HEIC photos into JPEGs that open anywhere, with just the controls you need.
