The mobilityDIY Bus module and app are part of a community-based approach to bus and shuttle services that allows approved drivers to share their route, schedule, empty seats and location information with members of the community, and includes live updates to indicate schedule delays. Timetables, routes and live location updates are provided via links and can be embedded on any organizational, government, or business-branded website. The mobilityDIY Bus module is easy to setup and provides a highly configurable user experience, managing the routes, schedules, and pickup points all within the platform. The Bus module also includes the ability to download GTFS files, enabling the community to share scheduling information with other communities, businesses, and organizations. The mobilityDIY Bus module is ideal for communities that are generally considered “off-the-grid” and have few options provided by the government or private sector. Examples include small towns, outlying businesses, suburbia, and event venues.
