Flute GR: Learn the Recorder

Flute GR teaches you to play the recorder from zero, the fun way: follow the sheet music and the fingering chart, blow into your own recorder and let the app listen through the microphone. You get a detailed score after every piece, and points, streaks and achievements keep you going.

🎶 LEARN THE RECORDER FROM ZERO
• A path of 10 lessons that unlock one after another: from your first B-A-G notes with the left hand only to the high register
• A quiz at the end of every lesson: pick the right fingering, name the note from the chart, read the staff and play it
• Note values, rests and rhythm with the metronome
• Baroque (English) fingering for the soprano recorder, from C4 to D6

🎤 THE MICROPHONE LISTENS TO YOU, FOR FREE
• Play your recorder: the app recognises the notes one at a time and checks that they are the right ones
• It copes with a recorder that is not perfectly tuned to A = 440
• Best in a quiet room and with headphones, so the microphone does not pick up the app's own sounds
• No recorder at hand? Use the on-screen note buttons

🎯 THREE PRACTICE MODES
• Learn: the music waits until you play the right note
• Play: play in time and earn points
• Listen: hear the piece and follow the score
• Fingering chart for the current and the next note, tempo from 50% to 125%, metronome
