About OxalateGuard: Oxalate Tracker

Eat with confidence. Know what's on your plate.

OxalateGuard helps you navigate low-oxalate eating with real data, not guesswork. Built by a kidney stone survivor for anyone managing their kidney health — whether you've had stones, follow a low-oxalate diet, or just want to understand what's actually in your food.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

Search 2,500+ foods — See precise oxalate values sourced from Harvard, USDA, peer-reviewed nutrition research, and the Oxalate Health Foundation. Every food page shows kitchen-friendly portions: per teaspoon, per cup, per ounce — not just "per 100g."

Scan barcodes instantly — Point your camera at any packaged product. OxalateGuard reads the ingredient list and estimates oxalate levels, even for products that aren't in any nutrition database. Color-coded results: green, yellow, amber, red.

Check restaurant menus — Snap a photo of any menu. OxalateGuard's AI reads the dishes, flags likely-high-oxalate ingredients, and tells you what to ask your server. Includes a growing library of chain restaurants (Olive Garden, Chili's, Cheesecake Factory, and more) for instant answers.

Log your meals — Keep a simple daily diary. Watch your oxalate, sodium, potassium, and phosphorus trends over time. Perfect for sharing with your doctor or dietitian.

Track hydration and urine — Log fluid intake against your daily goal. Record urine color and volume for stone prevention awareness.

Recipe converter — Paste any recipe. Get the oxalate breakdown per serving plus swaps that reduce risk without changing the meal.

Meal reminders — Optional daily nudges for breakfast, lunch, dinner, hydration, and logging. All on-device, no tracking.

Care team report — Generate a printable summary of your eating patterns to share with your urologist, nephrologist, or dietitian.

WHY IT'S DIFFERENT

Most oxalate lists online contradict each other — some say spinach is dangerous, others say it's fine. OxalateGuard shows you the actual measurements from every major source, with a consensus value for each food. When sources disagree, you see why.

We don't sell your data. We don't run ads. We're an independent product built by people who've been through kidney stone surgery and want better tools than what's out there.

FREE & PREMIUM

OxalateGuard is free to use with daily limits on barcode scans and menu checks. Premium unlocks unlimited scans, advanced insights, personalized trends, and priority support.

DISCLAIMER

OxalateGuard is a tracking and educational tool, not medical advice. Always consult your healthcare provider for dietary recommendations tailored to your condition.
