Miam

Miam turns the products in your cupboards into recipes.

Scan a product's barcode: Miam displays its Open Food Facts page and a review from Coco, its mascot. Miam then creates a recipe around that product and marks it as "already in your kitchen" in the ingredients list.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

• View a product's information: Nutri-Score, NOVA group, nutritional values ​​per 100g, ingredients, and products in the same category with a better Nutri-Score.

• Create a recipe with one or more scanned products: ingredients, steps, preparation and cooking times, estimated nutritional values ​​per serving.

• For each recipe, choose the number of servings, your budget, and your options: vegetarian, vegan, lactose-free, gluten-free, alcohol-free, and ingredients to exclude.

• Indicate your cooking equipment (oven, microwave, air fryer, steamer, etc.) to receive recipes that work with your appliances. • Plan your lunches and dinners for the next four weeks: with your saved recipes, with new recipes created according to your preferences and a maximum time limit, or with a combination of both.

• Get your weekly shopping list, organized by aisle.

• Find all your recipes, save your favorites, and export them as PDFs to print or share.

HOW IT WORKS

Product information comes from Open Food Facts (openfoodfacts.org), a collaborative database published under the ODbL (Open Database License). Recipes and their nutritional values ​​are generated by artificial intelligence, based on your preferences and utensils: from your scanned products for a recipe, without any scanned products for meal planning. Nutritional values ​​are estimates. Each recipe can be flagged from within the app.

SUBSCRIPT

Scanning and product information are free, without a subscription. You can also create your first recipes to discover Miam without a subscription. Miam Pro unlocks unlimited recipe creation, weekly meal planning, and monthly or yearly shopping lists. The exact price is displayed in the app before any commitment. The subscription renews automatically and can be canceled at any time from your Google Play account.

PRIVACY

Your account and recipes are hosted in the European Union. Your dietary preferences are sent with your request to the artificial intelligence service that creates the recipe; Miam does not store them.
The camera is used only to read barcodes on scanning screens. No photos are taken or stored.
