P2PMeseji: Your private chat

P2P Meseji is a messaging app with no servers. Your messages, photos, videos, voice messages and files travel directly from your phone to your friends' phones, end-to-end encrypted. No account, no phone number, no ads, no tracking.

🔗 HOW IT WORKS
• Add friends by scanning each other's QR code — only one of you needs to scan. You can also scan a code from an image.
• On the same Wi-Fi, messages go over your local network and arrive almost instantly.
• Anywhere else, they travel through the Tor network, which also hides your IP address.
• If your friend is offline, messages wait safely on your phone and are delivered automatically as soon as you're both online — like a torrent that only syncs when both sides are connected.
• Does your country or network block Tor? Turn on "Bypass censorship" to connect through Snowflake and obfs4 bridges.

💬 WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Send text, photos, videos, voice messages and any kind of file. Big files resume where they left off if the connection drops.
• Swipe a message to reply to it. Edit your messages or delete them for everyone during the first hour after sending them.
• Temporary messages: choose 1 hour, 1 day or 1 week and they disappear from both phones. While they're on, screenshots are blocked in that chat.
• My notes: create as many chats with yourself as you like for notes, photos, voice memos or files. They're stored encrypted and never leave your phone.
• MoNeko stickers and emojis to liven up your chats.
• Add a profile photo that only your contacts can see.
• Verify your contacts with a security fingerprint so nobody can impersonate them.
• Chat with bots, marked with 🤖, that you add by QR like any contact. Keep in mind their owner can read what you send them.
• Light, dark or automatic theme, available in 19 languages.

🐱 Meet MoNeko, the app's little tutor. He introduces the app the first time you open it, and whenever you have a question, just tap his head in the top bar.

🔒 PRIVACY BY DESIGN
There are no servers, so there's nothing for us to see: Mendelatech never receives your messages, your contacts or any usage data. Everything is stored encrypted on your device only. No accounts, analytics, ads or trackers. Uninstalling the app permanently deletes your identity and your messages — there is no copy anywhere else.

⚠️ Good to know: because there are no servers, messages only arrive when both phones are online at the same time. Keep the app connected in the background (it shows a small permanent notification) so your friends can reach you.
