About Tideline: Lipedema Tracker
Some foods show up within hours. Some take a week. By the time your legs ache or swell, the meal that might have caused it is already a blur — and if you are working through one food group at a time, you also have to remember which stretch was which.
Tideline is a quiet food and symptom diary for lipedema. It keeps track so you do not have to.
QUICK TO LOG
A food takes about fifteen seconds. A symptom takes two taps — how bad it is, and roughly when it started. What kind it was — swelling, ache, headache, joint pain, skin, stomach — is one more tap and always optional. Wheat, dairy, aged cheese, cured meat, red wine, tomato, leftovers and the rest are one tap away, or type your own. That is the whole design constraint: a diary you stop feeding tells you nothing, so this one asks for as little as possible.
Alongside food and symptoms, a third quick log holds the daily numbers — your weight, how your legs feel morning and evening, and a glucose reading on the weeks you are taking them. Pick a kind, type a number, done. The evening rating can be filled in the next morning, because that is when you will remember it. Tideline says what today is still missing and then leaves you alone. No chart, ever — just a plain list, most recent first.
PHASES
If you are testing one food group at a time, mark the day each stretch began. Tideline reads that stretch on its own instead of averaging it together with the one before, and shows how often symptoms came in each. It never runs the schedule for you — no countdowns, no next-phase reminders, no week three of four. You mark a phase when you decide it started.
SLOW TO BLAME
Diet advice is full of confident lists of culprits that are not your culprits. Tideline does not guess. It waits until it has enough of your own days to work from, shows how much evidence sits behind every answer, and says plainly when it does not know yet. When a food turns up on nearly everything you log, it says that too, rather than ranking it as though the comparison meant anything.
When a suspect does show up, you can see why: how often it was followed by a symptom, how often it was not, how much of it you had, and what else was going on. Days when an antihistamine, your cycle, poor sleep, stress, or a skipped compression garment was doing the work can be set aside in one tap, and the answer worked out again without them.
Because different foods run on different clocks — a gluten reaction can arrive within hours or a day or two, a dairy-related ache can take over a week — Tideline looks from same-day out to two weeks, and lets you narrow that window yourself.
PRIVATE BY CONSTRUCTION
No account. No sign-up. No cloud. No ads, ever. Your log is a file on your phone and nowhere else — there is no server to send it to, because there is no server. Export a full backup whenever you want, as JSON or CSV, and erase everything from inside the app if you are done.
FREE FOR 30 DAYS, THEN $2 A MONTH OR $10 A YEAR
Everything unlocked for a month. After that, a subscription — $2 monthly or $10 yearly, no ads, all future updates included. Your history and your export stay readable whether you subscribe or not.
Thirty days because that is how long it honestly takes. A symptom that lags a week behind a meal needs weeks of days behind it before anything can be said, and a shorter trial would expire before you had seen the thing you would be paying for.
