DWG OfficeZip: DWG DXF Viewer

DWG OfficeZip is an offline CAD viewer and measuring tool for architects, engineers, surveyors and site teams who need to open DWG and DXF files on a phone or tablet. It opens AutoCAD drawings (DWG R13 – 2018+, DXF) and DGN files (V7 and V8) without a computer. Parsing happens on the device; your file goes nowhere unless you share it.

DWG AND DXF VIEWER
• Open DWG, DXF and DGN: layers, blocks, attributes, layouts, external references
• IFC building models (IFC2X3, IFC4): view walls, slabs, doors, windows, columns and beams in 3D, measure them and save as DWG, DXF or DGN
• Open files from a file manager, an e-mail, a messaging app or the Share menu
• Turn layers on and off, search text, fast zoom and pan

MEASURE
• Length, area, perimeter, angle, radius and coordinates
• Endpoint and midpoint snapping; measure a room's area by walking its corners

MAP AND GPS
• Live basemap: the drawing sits at its real coordinates on OpenStreetMap, satellite imagery or your own WMS / XYZ layer
• On site, GPS shows where you stand inside the drawing
• Coordinate systems: ITRF96 and ED50, 3° and 6° zones, UTM; set from an address, from the map or by hand

3D VIEW
• Orbit the 3D model stored in the same file; 3DFACE, meshes and solid models, ten visual styles

DOCUMENTS
• Open PDF, Word (DOC / DOCX), Excel (XLS / XLSX), PowerPoint, ZIP and RAR
• Region to PDF: take any area of a document as a new PDF or image

WORKS LIKE DESKTOP CAD
• With a keyboard and mouse on a tablet, DeX or Chromebook: command line, familiar command names and aliases, function keys
• Pipe profile: elevations and slope between manholes

Opening, viewing, measuring, layers, GPS and the basemap are free (the free edition shows ads). With the Premium and Super monthly / yearly subscriptions: 2D and 3D drawing and editing, saving as DWG, DXF and DGN V7, notes, scaled PDF, Word / Excel / PDF editing, PDF to CAD, drawing comparison and no ads. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time in your Google Play account.

PRIVACY
DWG OfficeZip has no server of its own; the files you open stay on your device. The interface is available in fifteen languages and follows your device language.
