📱 HOW IT WORKS

1. Open the app and grant one-time access to your WhatsApp Statuses folder using Android's secure Storage Access Framework
2. Browse all available photo and video statuses
3. Tap any status to view it full screen
4. Hit Save to download it to your gallery, or Share to send it anywhere

🔒 PRIVACY FIRST

Download Status does not collect, upload, or share any of your media or personal data. All file reading and saving happens entirely on your device. The only data stored locally is the folder path you granted access to, so you don't have to re-grant permission every time.

Ads are powered by Google AdMob. You can opt out of personalized ads in your device's Google settings.

📋 PERMISSIONS EXPLAINED

• Storage Access Framework (SAF) — used to read your WhatsApp Statuses folder. You choose exactly which folder to grant access to, and you can revoke it at any time from within the app.
• Media library access — used only when you tap Save, to write the file to your gallery.
