About Coldreach: Offline Space 4X
A complete 4X match on your phone, start to finish, in under an hour. Offline, singleplayer, no ads and no timers.
A collapsed interstellar gate network left this cluster dark for centuries. The factions that survived are each a different answer to the collapse, and all of them are reaching back into the cold for the same handful of worlds.
A MATCH THAT ENDS
Every match carries a visible turn cap. The turn block prints "turn 31 of 80", not just "turn 31", so you always know how much game is left. A small cluster runs about 35 to 45 minutes, a medium one 50 to 70. It autosaves every turn and resumes where you left it.
EVERY MATCH WRITES ITS OWN HISTORY
When it ends, the game reads the match back to you: how it was won and on which turn, the first contact that started it, every war with the turns it ran and how it settled, and a two-sentence epilogue that cites only what actually happened. The header line carries the seed, the map, the difficulty and the faction you played, so a screenshot of it is a complete record and anyone can replay the same cluster.
FIVE FACTIONS, FIVE DOCTRINES
Charter Combine: colonies cost them less, and each world they found starts with one building finished.
Kontor Concord: a trade embassy with them pays a second share of Influence, and both sides get it.
The Pattern Choir: research they cannot spend on a technology turns into production instead.
The Comitant Host: they strip wrecks for Alloy and build ships cheaply. Their worlds pay for it in Energy.
The Periplus Fleet: they can pay to move their capital to another world they founded.
THREE WAYS TO WIN
Domination: be the last faction still in the race.
Ascension: finish the three-stage Ascension project, announced publicly as each stage completes.
Legacy: if nobody has won by the cap, the highest score does. Colonies, technologies, Ascension stages, standing pacts, capitals taken and hulls destroyed all score, plus your faction's own agenda.
RIVALS THAT PLAY YOUR RULES
The AI runs on the same simulation you do. It has no free resources, no vision through the fog, and no second set of rules for when it is losing. Every opinion a rival holds of you is itemized down to the term and the number, and any bonus a difficulty grants is written on the difficulty card before you start.
BUILD AND RESEARCH
Four resources run the economy: Energy, Alloy, Research and Influence. Colonies have five building slots, so what you put in one is a thing you cannot put there later. Thirty technologies across Industry, Warfare and Sovereignty, tiered but not locked into eras.
DIPLOMACY THAT COSTS SOMETHING
Envoys, trade embassies, non-aggression pacts, tribute and war. Every offer prints its Influence price and whether they would accept it.
NO ADS. NO TIMERS. NO PAY-TO-WIN. EVER.
The free game is a whole game: unlimited matches, all three victory paths, every difficulty and the same AI, on two of the five factions and two of the three world types. One optional purchase unlocks all five factions, Large clusters and the Void Frontier. No account, no sign-in, and no connection needed to play.
