CCTV Survey Pro: Camera Plan

Quote a camera job before you leave the driveway.

CCTV Survey Pro lets you walk a site once and prove exactly what each camera will see — then price the complete system and hand the customer and the installer the same truth.

Drop cameras on the plan and the coverage draws itself. Live pixel-per-foot and DORI grading tells you whether that camera really will identify a face at that distance, so what you promise on site is what the install delivers.

PROVE THE DESIGN WHILE YOU ARE STANDING THERE

• Import a print or start from a blank grid, then calibrate it to real feet
• Place cameras, aim them, set the range, and watch each coverage cone update live
• Live PPF and DORI grading as you place — coverage you can defend
• Pick from the built-in camera catalog, or describe the location and get the right camera ranked for the job
• Camera proof and commissioning, so the finish is documented too

PRICE THE WHOLE SYSTEM

• A full bill of materials with real part numbers, priced
• Three install approaches — Robust, Balanced and Fast Deploy — you can walk a customer up or down
• Set the cable, patch panel and jack brands for the job, or let your defaults ride
• Sizes the recorder, the storage and the PoE budget for you
• Head-ends and port assignments, floor by floor

TWO BIDS FROM ONE WALK

The Budget Alternate builds a second, parallel bid on its own. Each camera swaps to the cheapest catalog model that still does the job at its spot, and you see the saving camera by camera with the coverage proof beside it — so a value option is one you can stand behind. Your premium design stays exactly as you drew it. Share either bid as a PDF or a CSV.

HAND OVER THE PAPERWORK

• Client report PDF — the proposal, with cover, design, coverage, recorder and priced estimate
• Installer work order PDF — every camera to hang and aim, with its ceiling, by floor
• Awarded — pick the winning bid and package the whole job as one handoff file: cameras, plans, photos, parts and head-ends
• Save any survey as a template to start the next similar job from

BUILT FOR THE FIELD

WHO IT IS FOR

Security integrators and CCTV technicians who would rather prove a design on site than argue about it after the install.

WHAT IT COSTS

Three full surveys, free. After that, starting a new survey needs a plan — and everything you have already made stays yours to open, edit and export.
