At Villa Foresta you can enjoy yourself on comfortable sofas in front of warm fires before or after you have eaten a good dinner in one of our two restaurants. You toast with old and new friends at our after works. You learn, laugh, dance, sing or just enjoy when you participate in one of our events. Or do you just want to get away from everyday life for a while, let someone else plan the Monday dinner - then you check into one of our 103 hotel rooms, with a dear friend, a love or perhaps all by yourself because alone time is something very special.

At the beginning of the 20th century, within the walls of Stockholm's own Grand Hotel, hotel director Wilhelmina Skogh envisioned the creation of an ever-green garden to compensate for the harsh cold outside. Her career continued to flourish, and in 1910 she named her newly built property on Lidingö "Villa Foresta", inspired by the forest and the old knightly burghs that beautifully bordered the river Rehn.

With its generous open spaces and an atmosphere that flows like the nature outside, we invite you to a place where the boundaries between indoors and outdoors blur. The lush environment takes root in the hotel's heritage and follows a timeless design. Step into Villa Foresta's verdant oasis and let yourself be swept up in a vibrant atmosphere.
