Milim - Word Game

Milim is a word-guessing game, in English, Portuguese and Spanish, made to be played anywhere: on the bus, in a queue, while the coffee brews.

The secret word has 5 letters and you have 6 tries to find it. After each guess, the tiles change color and tell you the truth:

🟩 GREEN — the letter is in the word and in the right spot
🟨 YELLOW — the letter is in the word, but somewhere else
⬛ GRAY — the letter is not in the word

The on-screen keyboard uses the same colors, so you can see at a glance which letters you have used and which are still open. Typed the wrong letter? Just tap the tile you want to change and type over it.

FIVE WAYS TO PLAY

• QUICK MATCH — a random word, as many times as you like. Stuck? Watch a video and get one letter in the right spot (and one more on your last try) — the match is then worth fewer points.

• WORD OF THE DAY — every day, everyone gets the same word. One chance a day. Then compare how many tries each of you needed. Closed the game halfway? You pick up right where you left off.

• WORD OF THE WEEK — one per week, worth double points. Also one chance only, and it also resumes where you stopped.

• PAST WORDS — a calendar with the words of the day from the last 6 months. Missed a day or didn't get it? Play it whenever you like, after a video. The green dot marks the days you've already solved.

• PLAY WITH FRIENDS — create a room, send the code to your group and play at the same time, each on your own phone. Everyone gets the same word. When someone gets it, the word is revealed to all and the next one begins. Play free-for-all, in teams of two (up to 10 teams), or relay — where the two teammates share the tries for the same word.

POINTS, MEDALS AND RANKINGS

The fewer tries you need, the more points you score:

300, 250, 200, 150, 100, 50 — from the first to the sixth try.

Missing the word scores 0. Winning several matches in a row earns a bonus, and the word of the week pays double. At the end of every match the game shows the full breakdown, line by line, so you can see where each point came from.

Your rankings keep your points, wins, average tries and your streak. And there are medals to collect along the way.

WHAT MILIM IS LIKE

• No sign-up, no login, no e-mail, no password.
• The whole game is free. If you like, you can buy Milim Premium, a one-time purchase: no ads between matches, exclusive avatars, hints without videos, past words without videos and color themes.
• Three languages: English, Portuguese and Spanish, each with its own dictionary, word of the day and rankings. The game follows your phone's language, and you can switch in Settings.
• Got an idea or found a problem? Send it from inside the game, in Settings › Feedback.
• Playing alone works offline.
• Playing with friends needs internet — and the nickname you chose is shown to the other players in the room.
• Letters A to Z only, no accents: the keyboard has 26 keys and nothing else.

Pick a nickname, not your full name: it is what the other players in the room see.
