MeThen is a privacy-first progress-photo tracker for lifters who trust the mirror over the scale. Guided check-ins keep every photo shot the same way, your timeline and comparisons are stored locally, and AI sees photos only for actions you start.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Check in: capture front, side, and back with alignment guides and a self-timer, so every check-in lines up with the last. You can also import older photos as backdated check-ins.
2. Watch the trend: browse your timeline and compare any two check-ins side by side, free, unlimited, and entirely on your device.
3. Want a second opinion? Tap Analyze. The first two are free and provide a careful, non-medical read of what visibly changed.

WHAT AN ANALYSIS GIVES YOU
• Visible changes across shoulders, chest, waist, arms, posture, leanness, and symmetry.
• A trend since your last check-in, shown only when the photos are consistent enough to support it.
• A broad body-fat range, clearly labeled a rough estimate from photos, never fake precision. Optional height, weight, sex, age, or a real measurement can sharpen that range locally and is never sent to AI.
• A better-photo suggestion when lighting, angle, clothing, or pose would make a read unreliable.
• Follow-up questions with clear safety boundaries around medical, diet, calorie, supplement, and workout prescriptions.

HONEST BY DESIGN
No scores, grades, or shame. MeThen describes what the camera shows gently. When lighting, pump, pose, or time of day could exaggerate a change, it says so instead of inventing progress or panic. It is a fitness tool, not a medical one: body-fat figures are estimates, not measurements, and every result carries a non-medical disclaimer.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your photos and check-ins are stored on your device, with no sign-in, ads, or tracking. Privacy Lock can keep the app behind your device authentication. When you tap Analyze, the selected photos, optional journal note, and a compact prior-result summary may be sent to Google’s Gemini on Vertex AI through Firebase. Photo metadata is stripped first. Chat does not resend photos. AI upload consent is remembered and can be revoked in Settings. You can delete every check-in, photo, result, and saved profile detail from Settings.

FREE AND PRO
Free includes unlimited check-ins, timeline, local side-by-side comparison, 2 AI analyses, and up to 10 successful chat replies per day. Pro adds unlimited AI analysis and follow-up chat for normal personal use. A fair-use safeguard may temporarily pause unusually heavy or repeated requests. A 7-day trial may be available to eligible new subscribers; Google Play shows the offer that applies. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled in Google Play.
