Reader Viewer: PDF & Office

Reader Viewer opens your documents fast, right on your phone. PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OpenDocument and text files all open in one light app, with no account and no uploads.

OPENS THE FILES YOU GET EVERY DAY • PDF • Word: DOC, DOCX, DOTX, DOCM • Excel: XLS, XLSX, XLTX, XLSM • PowerPoint: PPT, PPTX, PPSX, POTX, PPTM • OpenDocument: ODT, ODS, ODP • TXT and other text files
PASSWORD-PROTECTED FILES Open locked PDF and Office files with their password. Bank statements often put the password in the file name, like "Statement PW1234.pdf". Reader Viewer tries that password for you. Passwords are never saved.

TRANSLATE DOCUMENTS ON YOUR PHONE Translate a document into another language with Google ML Kit. Each language is downloaded once, then translation works offline. Your text never leaves your device.

COMFORTABLE READING • Find any word in the document • Jump through the table of contents and bookmarks • Reading mode hides everything but the page • Night mode and dark theme • Bigger or smaller text for Word, Excel and text files • Fast scroll through long files: long-press, then drag • Picks up where you left off

KEEP YOUR FILES CLOSE • Recent files, with pinning for the ones you use most • File details: size, pages, author, title and more • Files shared from WhatsApp or Gmail stay in Recents; save them to Downloads in one tap • Export a document, or a PDF's text, as HTML, in its own language or translated

WORKS WITH YOUR OTHER APPS • Open documents straight from Files, Gmail, WhatsApp and more • Share and print • Edit in another app, and pick your favourite editor for each file type • Make Reader Viewer your default viewer for every file type, or only some
PRIVATE BY DESIGN Reader Viewer needs no storage, camera, contacts or location permission. You choose each file you open. Documents are read on your device and are never uploaded.

FREE, WITH AN AD-FREE OPTION Reader Viewer is free and shows a small banner ad. Watch 3 short ads to remove the banner for 120 days.
