Prayd: Christian Prayer Alarm

The alarm you won't snooze. It rings with someone's name on it. You get up, you pray for them, they get a card. A Christian prayer alarm and daily devotional for your morning routine.

Most of us mean to pray for the people we love. Then the day starts and we forget by lunch. Prayd puts their name on your alarm clock, so the first thing you do tomorrow is pray for them.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Pick who you get up for. One name a day, from your contacts or typed in, and what they're going through: their health, their work, a loss, their faith.
2. Tomorrow the alarm rings with their name on the screen. Hold to pray. A short prayer written for their situation, with a Bible verse, in your tradition's words.
3. They get a card. "Someone got up and prayed for you this morning." Send it by message, or keep it to yourself.

WHY IT WORKS
• You don't snooze your mother. A name on the alarm gets you up when a beep never did.
• Five seconds, before your phone. You pray before the feed, the mail, the news.
• Someone knows. The card lands on their phone. Never your words, only that you got up for them.

WHAT'S INSIDE
• A prayer for every situation: health, work or school, a loss, money, a relationship, faith, or "I'm not sure".
• A daily Bible verse with each prayer, chosen for what they're going through.
• Your tradition: Catholic, Protestant or Evangelical, Orthodox, non-denominational, or still working it out.
• Your people, in rotation. Add as many names as you like; the alarm takes one each morning.
• Your week at a glance: the mornings you kept, and your streak.
• Cards in four designs, ready to send.
• No account, no feed, no comments. One alarm, one prayer, before the day starts.

A PRAYER HABIT THAT LASTS
Prayd is for anyone who wants to start the day with God and with someone else in mind: a mom praying for her kids, a friend carrying a friend, a small group from church keeping each other going. Five seconds of intercessory prayer each morning becomes a habit of faith, one name at a time. A gentle reminder to pray, a verse to hold on to, and a card that tells someone they were carried to Jesus today.

One name. One prayer. Before the day starts.
