About Iris: Eye Strain & Screen Rest

Tired, dry eyes after a long screen day? Iris gives your eyes a real rest: guided 2-minute eye exercises, a daily break reminder and a personal Eye Age, all built around one idea. Your eyes have a battery, and screen time drains it.

Every hour on a screen wears it down. Long unbroken sessions wear it down faster. Night scrolling, the fastest of all. Iris makes that eye fatigue visible and gives you a simple way to recharge.

No guilt. No lectures about willpower. Just your eyes, asking for a break.

HOW IRIS WORKS

- YOUR EYE AGE - A short quiz about how your eyes feel and how you use screens turns into one number: your Eye Age. It shows how much strain your habits add, and every point traces back to an answer you gave.

- GUIDED RECHARGES - A 2-minute routine of five timed eye exercises: the 20-20-20 rule, eye rolls, palming, near-far focus shifts and blink resets. Haptic cues guide each step, so you can rest your eyes without watching a timer. No equipment, no dark room, no looking weird in the office.

- SCIENCE YOU CAN CHECK - Every exercise links to the research behind it, from the American Optometric Association, the American Academy of Ophthalmology and peer-reviewed studies.

- A DAILY NUDGE - Tell Iris when your eyes feel worst, morning, afternoon, evening or night, and it reminds you to take a break right before the slump.

- THE EYE BATTERY - See your eyes as a battery: what drains it, what a recharge gives back, and the habits that keep you in the green.

WHO IRIS IS FOR

If you spend 8+ hours a day on screens - remote work, side projects, then an evening of doomscrolling - and your eyes feel gritty and tired by 9pm, Iris was built for you. Iris is eye care for screen people: a two-minute break that fits between two meetings.

WHY IT WORKS

Most break timers rely on guilt or arbitrary alarms, and we all learn to swipe past them. Iris gives every pause a reason: your own eyes. A short guided routine is easier to start than a vague promise to rest more, and a reminder at your worst hour lands when you need it.
