Photo Rescue: Photo Recovery

Deleted a photo by mistake? Photo Rescue helps you recover deleted photos that Android still makes available—without pretending it can read erased storage.

Use one clear photo recovery search to check Android system trash and known locations where readable image copies may remain. Preview the evidence first, then decide what to restore.

What the search can find
• Original photos still held in Android system trash on Android 11 or later.
• Readable image copies in known trash, cache, and thumbnail locations.
• Existing copies that may help when the original is no longer available.

Every result explained
• “Restore original” means Android still has the original in its system trash.
• “Save copy” means Photo Rescue found a readable copy and will create a new photo.
• See the preview, file size, dimensions, source, and expected action before recovery.
• Know when a copy may be smaller or lower quality than the original.

Simple and safe
• Start one search from a beginner-friendly screen—no technical setup.
• Select one photo or recover several verified results together.
• Android requests confirmation before restoring originals.
• Saved copies go to Pictures/Recovered.
• Stop safely at any time and review recent recovery activity.

Private on-device recovery
The search, preview, and recovery process run on your device. Your photo files are not uploaded to us or sent to Google’s advertising service. No root access or “all files” permission is required. The app supports English, French, and Arabic, including right-to-left layouts.

Photo Rescue contains ads. With consent where required, an app-open ad may appear on the branded loading screen and a fixed banner may appear on Home. Ads do not interrupt search, results, preview, recovery, or Back navigation.

Honest recovery limits
Android security does not let a normal app scan permanently erased internal-storage blocks. Photo Rescue cannot recover photos after they have been overwritten, securely erased, or removed by a factory reset, and no recovery result is guaranteed. A cache or thumbnail copy can be smaller and may already exist elsewhere on your device. Google Photos and manufacturer gallery trash stay inside those apps; Photo Rescue shows you where to check.

For the best chance, stop taking new photos or installing large apps, then check Photo Rescue, Google Photos, and your phone’s Gallery trash as soon as possible.
