About Still
Still is a small studio for spoken affirmations. You choose how you feel, say the lines in your own voice, and get a track you can play back with headphones.
How it works
Start with a feeling, hopeful, stuck, uninspired, overextended, flat, scattered, or uneasy, or write a few words of your own. Still picks a short set of affirmations from a large catalog, matched to that. You choose how many: 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, or 30.
You record them one by one. Tap when you have said the line. If you prefer, upload a take you already have.
Then you mix. Choose a format, a length (1, 3, 5, or 10 minutes), and a background sound. You can leave the voice dry, add a little echo or reverb, set the rest between lines (including none), and set how loud the background sits under you.
Formats
Centered — voice and background in the middle
Delayed dual — the same line in both ears, one slightly late
Two voices — a different recording in each ear (headphones)
Sweep — the voice slowly travels left to right
Behind you — the take in front, a quieter wet copy in the room
Ping-pong — one line left, the next one right
Sleep fade — the voice dissolves; the background stays
Low layer — a slower, quieter copy under the normal take
Backgrounds include voice only, delta beats, night pad, solfeggio, rain, drone, gong, meditation, and taiko. You can also upload your own. Spatial formats need headphones.
Tracks save on the phone. Play them in the library, with a neon visualizer if you want, and loop if you want them to keep going.
A quiet record of the week
When you choose a set of lines, Still keeps that on the device. The library can show a short note for today and, after a couple of sessions, one for the week, no account, no network.
If you want a longer reflection, you can ask for this week’s note. That sends this week’s feelings and lines, not your voice, and writes a short paragraph in the same tone. You can read it again without sending twice.
What stays on the phone
Recordings, mixes, your background uploads, and the local notes live on the device. Nothing is an account. Nothing is sold as treatment.
Still is not therapy, not a medical device, and not a promise that a track will change your life. It is a way to say something once, clearly, and hear it back.
Best with
A quiet room, headphones for two-ear mixes, and a little time to speak the lines without rushing. Leave a clear pause between affirmations if you use Two voices, so both takes can start together.
