TrailBack is an offline-first tracker for hikers and trail runners. It records your route by GPS even where there is no signal, and guides you back along the exact path you came.

Records your trail with no connection. Download map tiles in advance to see your route on the map — or track on a blank canvas. Offline is normal, not an error.

FIND YOUR WAY BACK
Follow your own breadcrumb trail with a large compass arrow. TrailBack retraces the path you actually walked — it is not turn-by-turn routing, it is your way back.

SEE EVERY CLIMB
Track elevation gain and your full elevation profile. When your phone has no barometer, altitude is clearly marked as an estimate — never a guess dressed up as precision.

STAY SAFE
Distance back to start, sunset return timer, low-battery and off-route alerts. All on-device.

PRIVATE BY DEFAULT
Your location never leaves your phone. Nothing is uploaded to a server. Sign-in is optional and only for future features.
