About InCharging: Current Meter
Compare cables and chargers with a 15-second measurement of average battery current. If your phone is charging slowly, check how the readings change after switching the cable, power adapter, or USB port. InCharging shows live current, voltage, and estimated power so you can evaluate charging performance directly on your smartphone.
Main features
• Android current meter: monitor battery charging and discharging current in real time in mA.
• Measure average current for 15 seconds and compare it with the previous result.
• View battery voltage in V and estimated charging power in W.
• See the power source reported by Android: AC charger, USB port, or wireless charging.
• Monitor battery temperature and battery level.
• Large live current reading with a clear charging animation on one main screen.
Check chargers and cables
Connect your smartphone to a power source and start a 15-second measurement. Then change the cable or charger and compare the results. The average reading helps you evaluate charging performance instead of relying on a single instant value.
Use the app to:
• Compare an old and a new USB cable on the same phone.
• Check charging from a wall adapter, power bank, or laptop USB port.
• See whether current changes after replacing a charger when charging feels slow.
• Monitor battery temperature and charge level while testing.
Clean interface without unnecessary features
All important charging metrics are shown on one screen. Choose Light, Dark, or System theme. The interface is adapted for smartphones, tablets, and foldable devices.
No ads, subscriptions, or registration. Measurements are processed locally, while settings and the previous comparison result are stored on the device.
Important to know
InCharging shows battery current and battery voltage. It does not directly measure the output of the charger or electrical parameters at the USB connector. Power is calculated from battery readings and is displayed as an estimate. Data availability and accuracy depend on the smartphone, Android version, and device hardware; some devices may not provide current readings.
For more meaningful comparisons, use the same phone at a similar battery level, temperature, and workload. A higher current reading alone does not prove cable quality, but it can help compare charging results under similar conditions.
