About Retro Minesweeper - Arcade Art
Retro Minesweeper — the classic minesweeper puzzle, just like the old computer game, with a twist: clear the board and a hidden retro arcade picture appears.
Gray tiles, red counters and the smiley button, exactly as you remember them.
■ Arcade art hidden under the board
Every cell you open lets a little of the picture show through. Find the last mine and the remaining tiles come tumbling down to reveal the art.
One lucky coin, a claw machine's last second, a rainy-day cat — collect 12 pixel-art scenes from a 1990s neighborhood arcade.
■ Five levels, from very easy to nightmare
Very Easy 6×6 · Beginner 9×9 · Intermediate 16×16 · Expert 16×30 · Nightmare 16×30 with 130 mines.
Your first tap is always safe. The expert board stands upright to fit your phone.
■ Old-school, made for touch
Tap to dig, long-press to flag, or switch on Flag mode to flag with a single tap.
Tap a number with all its flags placed to open its neighbours at once. Pinch to zoom on big boards.
Click-and-boom sound effects, vibration and pixel fonts.
■ Records and rankings
Top 10 best times for every level, games played, win rate and streaks. World rankings on Google Play Games (sign-in optional).
■ 14 languages
English, Korean, Japanese, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, Italian, Russian, Turkish, Vietnamese and Indonesian.
■ Your records stay on your phone
No account, no server. All pictures and sounds were made for this app.
Ads: a full-screen ad each time the app opens (after the start screen) and after a game ends, when you move on to the next board or leave; a rewarded ad only when you choose a hint; one ad card in the exit dialog.
No banner ads, and never an ad while you are playing. No in-app purchases.

What’s new
Version 1.0.5 · Updated October 22, 2026
Changed • When you open the app, it now waits a little longer (up to 8 seconds, after the start screen) for an ad that is slow to load. If it isn't ready by then, the app starts without it.
