Melody Drawing - Music Maker

Melody Drawing turns the lines you draw into music, right as you draw them.
No sheet music needed. Swipe a finger across the grid and it plays back as a melody that you can save and share.

How it plays
• Draw on a 32 × 20 grid. Left to right is time; the higher you go, the higher the note.
• Every line follows the scale you choose, so there are no wrong notes.
• Press play and a glowing playhead sweeps across, making each note sparkle.
• Pinch with two fingers to zoom in, and fix things with the eraser, undo and redo.

Instruments and brushes
• 9 instruments: Piano, Marimba, Bells, Synth, Harp, Vibes, Kalimba, Glass and Pad. Each color is a different instrument, so you can mix several in one drawing.
• 6 brush styles: Beads, Glow, Sparkle, Ribbon, Star dust and Rainbow.
• Add drums (Pop, Lo-fi, Dance) and a bass accompaniment.
• 8 scales (pentatonic, major, minor, blues and more), 12 keys, tempo from 40 to 240 BPM.

Start from a template
• Pictures such as a cat, whale, heart, star, waves, mountains and a rainbow are already songs.
• Begin with familiar public-domain tunes like Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Ode to Joy, When the Saints Go Marching In, Canon and Jingle Bells, then make them your own.

Save and share
• Save to My works and your piece reopens exactly as drawn, with the same sound, ready for more editing.
• If you leave mid-drawing, Continue on the Home screen brings you back, undo history included.
• Save to your phone or share as a picture (PNG) or sound (WAV). You can also create a video of the glowing playback (MP4) and a MIDI file.

Also
• At 12:30 and 8:30 PM we'll remind you of the song you were drawing or today's melody. You can turn this off in Settings.
• Available in 17 languages.

Always open, or opened with an ad
• Piano, the Beads and Glow brushes, bass, scale/key/tempo, and saving pictures and sounds are always open.
• Other instruments and brushes, drums, some templates, and video/MIDI saving open for 3 minutes after you watch a short ad. When the time is up, lines you've already drawn stay visible and keep playing.

About ads
This app is supported by ads, and ads appear only in these places:
• Interstitial ad: after the splash screen each time you open the app (after the intro screens on first install). If it isn't ready within 5 seconds, the app starts right away without an ad.
• Interstitial ad: when you return from another app (except when coming back from the share sheet or from tapping an ad).
• Interstitial ad: after saving a work or a file (at most once every 3 minutes; none when you save your first work).
• Banner ads: at the bottom of the Home, Templates and My works screens.
• Native ads: one spot on the save-complete screen and in the confirmation dialog shown when you exit the app.
• Rewarded interstitial ads: only when you choose to open a locked tool or video/MIDI saving. They start after a 3-second notice, and you can skip them with [No thanks].
Ads never interrupt you while you draw or while a song is playing, and notifications contain no ads.

Good to know
• No sign-up, no account. Drawings and songs are stored only on your device and are never sent to a server.
• No microphone is used. Sound is generated inside the app from the lines you draw.
• No in-app purchases or subscriptions.
