PANEL SERIAL INVENTORY THAT SURVIVES A WARRANTY CLAIM
Manufacturers require per-site serial records before they will honour a 25-year linear warranty. Most small installers lose those records.

• Scan the module label — the barcode, or the printed serial when the barcode is scuffed
• "Save & add another" keeps the make, model and wattage so you log 18 modules fast
• Duplicate serials are rejected, so a double scan cannot corrupt your inventory
• Export the whole record as CSV — it opens anywhere, years from now

INVERTER AND COLD-MORNING VOLTAGE CHECK
Record make, model, serial, AC/DC ratings, MPPT count and firmware. Then check your string against the inverter's DC input limit at the coldest temperature you expect — the classic way a brand-new inverter dies on its first cold morning, and something you cannot see without doing the maths.

COMMISSIONING CHECKLIST
Ten tap-through safety checks — earth continuity, ground-fault trip, RCD, anti-islanding, isolators, disconnect labelling, wire labelling, array bonding, surge protection, mounting torque — each Pass, Fail or N/A. Plus AC readings, earth resistance and technician sign-off.

Record Voc, Vmp, Isc and Imp per string with the ambient temperature. A missing string-voltage line is one of the most common reasons a net-metering application stalls for weeks.

PRODUCTION ESTIMATE YOU CAN DEFEND
Every figure is calculated from what you already logged — the installed modules, the array tilt and azimuth, the measured shading, the inverter efficiency. Nothing is typed in by hand, because a hand-typed number is exactly what a customer can dispute later.

You get annual and average monthly kWh, the monthly shape across the year, specific yield, performance ratio, DC:AC ratio and a 25-year total — with an itemised list of every assumption behind it. When the customer asks "you said 1,500 kWh a month", you both have the same baseline.

PHOTO EVIDENCE, ORGANISED BY CATEGORY
Before, during, after, roof penetrations, equipment placement, wire labelling, disconnect labels, serial labels, receipts. The categories insurers, city inspectors and warranty desks actually ask for.
