Arirang: Meet, Gift, Connect

Arirang is where the world meets over Korean culture — make friends, share your world, and send gifts, without letting language get in the way.

Named after Korea's most beloved folk song — about crossing every hill together, however far the road — Arirang is built to keep hearts connected across any distance or language.

WHY ARIRANG
• Meet new people worldwide, matched by language and shared interests
• Madang: share posts, photos and short videos, reply to each other, and discover people whose vibe fits yours
• Send gifts — from a coffee to a crown — to show you care; gifts you receive turn into call time
• 1:1 video calls and chat, with live captions translated in real time so you can talk across languages
• Calls keep running when you leave the app — step out to check a message and your call audio and microphone stay live; tap the ongoing-call notification to jump back
• Incoming-call ringtones still reach you when Arirang isn't on screen
• Free beauty filters on every video call — fine-tune them anytime
• Private by design — no cross-app tracking, and we never sell your data

MEET THE WORLD
Discover people who love the same things you do — and the languages you're curious about. Explore Madang, start a chat, jump on a video call.

KEEPS GOING IN THE BACKGROUND
Leave Arirang mid-call and the call does not drop — your microphone keeps capturing and you stay audible to the other person, with an ongoing-call notification to tap your way back. Ringtones still reach you when a call arrives while the app is in the background. You can end the call from that notification at any time.

GIFTS THAT MEAN SOMETHING
Say it with a gift. Send coffee, roses, a gift box, a crown, or a rocket during a call or in chat. It's a playful way to show appreciation — and every gift you receive becomes free translated call time.

LANGUAGE IS NEVER A BARRIER
On a video call, see live captions of what the other person says, already translated into your language — speak naturally and Arirang keeps up. In chat, you type in your language and they read in theirs. Photos, voice, and location too.
