About PhotoFit: Photo Resizer
PhotoFit resizes photos to a target file size (KB), pixel dimensions, aspect ratio and format. When an upload has strict requirements — job applications, ID photos, document submissions, social posts — preview the result and compare it with the original before saving.
When you need it
• A job application requires "photo under 200KB"
• An online form rejects your upload because the file is too large
• You need an ID photo cropped to a 3:4 ratio
• You want smaller images on a blog or store page so they load faster
• You are emailing several photos and need to reduce the total size
• You want to strip location data from a photo before sharing it
Main features
• Compress to a preset target from 50KB to 2MB, or enter your own
• Set width and height in pixels, longest edge, scale percentage, or keep the original ratio
• Crop to 1:1, 3:4, 4:3, 9:16, 16:9 and more, with 90-degree rotation
• Save as JPG, PNG, WebP or HEIC
• See which formats your device does not support, and why
• Remove location, camera model and capture date metadata selectively
• Preview estimated size and resolution, and compare before and after
• Save to your device and share to other apps
• Reuse presets for social, profile, ID photo and document submissions
PDF, macros and batch processing
• Save selected photos as a multi-page PDF, one photo per page
• Save edit settings as a macro, and import or export them as JSON
• Apply one macro to up to 100 photos in sequence, then retry only the failures
• Resume progress after an interrupted run
Macros help when many photos need the same treatment. Save a size, dimension and format combination once, then apply the same conditions again later.
Animated images
View frame count, duration and loop count for GIF and WebP files. On Android the first frame is used for conversion.
Editing assistant
On supported devices, a natural-language request is turned into edit settings by on-device AI. The settings are shown before anything is applied, and your photo is not modified until you confirm. On other devices, rule-based interpretation is used instead.
Frequently asked questions
Q. Does this delete or overwrite my original photo?
A. No. Results are saved as new files and the original is left untouched.
Q. Does it need an internet connection?
A. Photo conversion runs on your device and works offline. Network may be used for ads, update checks and AI model downloads.
Q. Will it hit the target size exactly?
A. It aims to land at or under the target. Results vary with image complexity, Android version and the encoder on your device.
Q. Do I need an account?
A. No. Every feature works without an account or sign-in.
Q. Can I remove location data from photos?
A. Yes. Location, camera model and capture date metadata can be removed selectively.
Privacy and usage
Conversion runs on your device. Originals and results are not uploaded to PhotoFit's servers. Originals are never overwritten. No account or sign-in is required.
Some advanced features can be unlocked with a rewarded ad, which grants a 30-minute Pro pass. There are no in-app purchases or subscriptions. Network may be used for ads, update checks, usage analytics and AI model downloads.
Target size results and supported formats depend on the image, your Android version and your device's encoder.
