National Meeting of Missionary Groups 2026

An invitation to walk together, in communion and hope, toward a living and outgoing Church.

With the motto "In communion we are mission," thousands of members of missionary groups from across the country are preparing to participate in the 5th National Meeting of Missionary Groups (ENGM), which will take place from May 23 to 25, 2026. The venue will be announced soon.

The event aims to renew the missionary spirit of the communities, deepening a vision of a Church that is outgoing, synodal, and open to dialogue and service. Inspired by the biblical phrase "That they may all be one" (Jn 17:21), the invitation seeks to strengthen communion among the different groups and promote a mission committed to current realities.

In preparation, a series of catecheses on the logo and identity of the 2026 National Meeting of Missionary Groups (ENGM 2026) has been shared. The third catechesis invites participants to "discover the spirit of the Meeting," highlighting the call to walk together toward a living Church, in communion and hope.

The Meeting aims to:

Awaken and strengthen the missionary vocation of community.
Promote a renewed understanding of mission as a way of life.
Rediscover the ecclesial value of Missionary Groups.
Build networks of communion and cooperation in a synodal spirit.
Recognize new areas of mission: geographical, cultural, and existential.
