Next Step: Cause & Action

Next Step helps you turn a repeated mistake, a distraction or a habit you want to change into a clear cause and one small next action.

Write it in three quick steps — the problem, why it keeps happening, and the next action — and come back later to check what you actually did.

What you can do
• Capture a note in under a minute: problem, reason, next action
• See your unfinished next actions on the Today screen
• Sort notes into folders, add tags and search them
• Review your week and share the summary as an image
• Run timed routines (macros) with reminders and see how they went
• Track your own numbers, such as sleep, study or exercise
• Lock the app with a PIN or biometrics
• Back up and restore your notes as a file
• Use it in 27 languages, with light and dark themes

Private by design
No account and no sign-up. Your notes stay on your device and the developer does not receive them. The app shows ads through Google AdMob, and you can manage your ad privacy choices in Settings.

Next Step is a self-reflection tool. It does not provide medical or psychological advice.
