About Lane Defense: Zombie Siege TD
The safehouse sits at the left edge of the screen. Between it and the horizon are five lanes of cracked asphalt — and everything walking down them wants in.
Lane Defense: Zombie Siege TD is a free lane tower defense game built around one decision you make a hundred times a minute: plug the gap now, or save up for the tower that actually holds? Tap a card, tap a lane tile, and the shooting starts. Ignore one lane for six seconds and the zombies are at your door.
▌FIVE LANES. NINE COLUMNS. NO SPARE TILES.
The battlefield is a 5×9 grid. Every tower takes a slot you can't get back, and each extra copy of the same tower costs a little more than the last — so spamming one build stops working fast. Read whichever lane is under pressure, place, upgrade (3 levels each, with new looks, damage, range and fire rate), or sell for 70% back and rebuild.
▌ZOMBIES THAT FORCE YOU TO CHANGE THE PLAN
Shield-carriers ignore damage from the front — answer them with splash or hit them from behind. Bombers detonate on death and take your front line with them. Flyers can only be touched by anti-air. Then come armored walkers, healers that buff the whole pack, splitters that become two, blinkers that vanish and reappear, and bosses that stomp your front row into scrap.
▌99 MAPS, THEN ENDLESS
Each map is 10 waves and finishes with a boss. Clear it and the next one unlocks — 99 procedurally built maps in all, difficulty climbing on a strict curve: more health, tighter spawn gaps, new zombie types unlocked on schedule. Beat a map and its Endless mode opens, where difficulty compounds +8% per wave from wave 11 with a hardened boss every 10 waves. Your record is kept per map.
▌BUILD YOUR LOADOUT MID-RUN
Kills drop gold instantly. Every wave pays out. Call the next wave early and get paid extra for the risk. Every third wave you pick 1 of 3 unlocks — a new tower or an attachment like an ammo boost or a range chip. Kills also charge a full-screen airstrike: hold it for the boss, or burn it to save a lane you were about to lose. That trade-off is the whole game.
▌ONE-TAP, OR FULL KEYBOARD
Tap a tower card, tap a tile to build. Or drag to preview the range circle before you commit. On a keyboard: 1–5 pick towers, arrows move the cursor, Space builds or calls the next wave early, S sells.
▌FREE, AND STRAIGHT ABOUT IT
Star coins — earned just by playing — buy every permanent upgrade in the game. Gems can be purchased, but you also earn them for every 3 maps cleared and for Endless milestones. Purchases speed you up, they never play for you: buffs are capped, timed or single-run; the boss-wave revive is once per run and does not reset boss health. Spend nothing and you can still clear all 99 maps — it just takes a few more runs. Placement beats payment, every time.
▌IT LOOKS LIKE THE END OF THE WORLD
Purple dusk, burnt-orange firelight, embers drifting over dead hills — and a burst of glowing green mist on every kill. Damage numbers, coin chimes, 40ms hit-stop on kills, screen shake when a boss lands.
Single player. Progress saves on your device.
Five lanes. One safehouse. Don't let a single zombie through.
